2. Description of Service
BetterDues provides HOA management software that enables board members to collect dues and manage resident information. The service includes payment processing, resident portals, and administrative dashboards.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Payments and Refunds
BetterDues charges a monthly or annual subscription fee of $39/month or $390/year. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new customers. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of initial purchase.
5. Payment Processing
Payment processing is handled through Stripe. HOA organizations must connect their own bank account via Stripe Connect. BetterDues does not hold or process resident-to-HOA payments directly.
6. User Responsibilities
Board members agree to:
- Maintain accurate resident information
- Comply with all applicable HOA laws and regulations
- Use the service only for legitimate HOA management purposes
- Not share account credentials with unauthorized parties
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use BetterDues for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users.
9. Limitation of Liability
BetterDues shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
